Hello,I have done body work for years, but at the risk of asking a stupid question, someone one day asked me ,if to remove a dent do I use magnets, I told them I have never heard of such, has anybody here heard of anything like that?Bodyworker.

If that were the case you would have to have an unbelievably strong magnet or and unbelievably weak metal.

Ive been doing body work for a number of years and ill be honest ive never heard of pulling a dent with a magent. Either the magnet needs to be really strong or the metal should be really oil canned. I think youl have much better luck with a dent nail gun and the small slidehammer setup.

Haven't used magnets for that purpose but by using "backing" ferrous plate or attracting magnetic force,(other magnet) very high forces overcoming auto sheet steel yield could be obtained, especially with electric or serarrium cobalt mags.
