hey, quick questioin, i live in chicago, cold this time of year, is it even possible to paint in a garage thats around 40 degrees? ha may be a dumb question, but worth asken, also advice on paiting racing stripes on hood? tried before and stripes to me looked like decals becasue i sprayed them after base coat, maybe i put on think? any adive would be great thanks alot!

Sorry but no chance . You need heat . Better to just wait until summer.

One of the biggest pains I find in the winter is gun clean up. I'm glad I don't paint much anymore. I can keep my garage at 80 if I want to . But I still will do my painting in the spring and summer. Sorry I wasn't more help. mooch

Most products today won't cross link {cure} properly if the temp gets below 55 degrees. So it may feel dry after a couple of days but the durability and adhesion properties won't be there.
