1.) What is the difference between a metal cabinet and a flammables locker?

2.) Do you (Len) sell flamables lockers?

3.) Do you sell vapor proof lights?

We have a paint locker at work, has a bifold door that is held open by a chain with a lead link in it,theory being in case of fire, link will melt and allow doors to close, kind of like the link that holds the lid open on a commercial parts washer.
Any electrical supply house that caters to electritions should be able to get explosion proof fixtures, and they'll know what the local code requires.

1. Usually a flammables locker is sealed and keeps the cans with solvents from off-gassing solvent into the building.

2. Yes, I can get them. Do you know how big you need it to be or if you need more than one?

3. Yes, explosion proof fixtures are available.

TIP: My insurance company allowed me to install two old refrigerators to keep my paint in. They said that as long as I cut off the power cord so the boxes couldn't be run they would pass inspection when the paint cans were all in the refrigerators. I got two from my township for free and placed all my paint cans in them and the paint smell in the shop disappeared. This was one of the best NON-purchases I ever made.
