Hi all
Im new to autobody work and decided to try to fix up my old 87 sentra. I bought a replacement fender and that went in without much fuss. Im down to putting in a bumper cover but Im not sure how to paint it. The cover is a replacement primed with a hydroflex waterbourne acrylic urethane. It also states not to use a adhesion promoter. So Im guessing I have to scuff with gray scotchbrite, clean but do I need to use a flexible primer after scuffing?
I dont have a gun so Im going to give it a go with rattle cans. Im thinking about using that bumper coat product that Bondo and Duplicolor has for sale.
Bumper coat has urethane in it so Im guessing its flexy enuff. Anyone ever use this stuff? Is it any good and does it hold up over time? thanks all.
Mike
