man oh man they just will not stop.in regaurds to the epa subject.this is totally getting out of hand and i think len is right the back yarder is the least of the problems with polution in the world.i wonder what kinds of fuel the epa agents are burning in thier automobiles?it sure is funny how money motivates these sorts of things.anyways len if you see this what are us hobbiests supposed to do just throw thousands of dollars away cause of this?man this is discouraging!!!!!

I don't know what you mean by throwing money away but you'll be able to buy paint, you'll just need to go to a body shop and pay them a profit to get the materials for you. Meanwhile find the organizations that will lobby for you like SEMA or ask your local paint supplier who to support because he's the one that's going to suffer most and he will be the one trying to keep this law from going into effect.

well i mean they stated treating us as criminals so that leads me to think i will not be spraying at home anymore so i might as well sell everything off at that point.criminals i just don't get it.drugs, murder,robbery,auto paint see where i am going here.

Wes, you're waaaaay over reacting. Newtons third law is " for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction". If the EPA starts resricting paint materials sales then like everything else in history we simply find a way around it.

You mean like paying dubble for water base paint. (Corperations make the law these days)think about! We just ask for it by saying (oh we'll find a way around it, don't wory about the tax payer)

well this could go deep but coming from an authoritic position in my comunity i myself will not take any chances.good point 68 , i would not mind water based paints but they are still shooting eurathane clears over the water based base coats.hey anyone know of a body shop magazine worthy of subscription?
