Hey guys great forum!
I've created a fiberglass mold of the end of my center console to increase the size so i can mount my DVD player in there. I was wondering if someone could tell me my best option for attaching the fiberglass mold to the plastic center console. Should i use Resin or some type of epoxy?
Thanks
Patrick

I would't use fiberglass resin only because it tends to crack too easily especially at the feather edge. I'd probably use Fusor 114 and bury a reinforcing mesh over the seam where the two meet. The 114 doesn't need an adhesion promoter but the down side is that it only has a 5 to 10 minute working time depending on the temperature. If you need a longer working time I'd recommend using Fusor plastic repair materials with an adhesion promoter.
