Hello all first off great sight!!!

I have a few questions, I've taken on a custom build from the ground up, a laborghini diablo roadster... Now I'm getting close to the body work and there will be a few things to do.. here is my site. www.jtm311.com

My first question is duraglass do you recommend it or something better?
Can you recommand a good product to bond steel to fiberglass?
Last one how would you recommand fixing this ?

Bonding fiberglass to steel can be done in several ways depending on where the bonding is being done, for what purpose and is the bonded seam going to be painted and invisible like a fiberglass scoop to a hood. If the bonding is below the surface (ie. frame to glass) you can use strong non-flexible materials but if it's on the surface and needs to be a "finished" joint then you need a flexible material because the metal expands and contracts at a different rate than the glass and a rigid repair could cause visible problems down the road.

The crack in the glass should be repaired with resin and fiberglass mat. The area of the crack is ground low then coated with resin, the mat is laid over into the low area then soaked with resin. This is usually done several times until the low area is filled with resin and mat. To strengthen the repair you usually will want to also cover the back of the repair with resin and mat IF you have access to it.

Thank you Len the steel I'm reffering to is not seen it will be in the door but needs to be a good bond, would you know the name of the product I should use? On the crack would you say to use fiber fill on the back ?
