Ok now this is my 1st time working with filler and maybe i should not have taken on such a big job...... But that said im in a bit of a pickle, as the pics below show i have attached a fiberglass scoop to the bonnet and am filling the edges to get the line looking right now that its dried bog seems to be dropping and lifting for some reason???? Btw it has been primed quickly so i can see all the dips if your wondering about the color.

Heres the problem

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Ryan

From reading a few posts around the forums im getting the feeling there might be unset filler under those spots??? If so the areas are small in comparison to the total area filled so should i only take the filler off the areas affected, or do i have to get rid of all the filler??? To give you an idea there is approx 1.7kgs of filler there and id estimate only .3 of a kilo is affected.

Yes, it does appear to be filler that was not mixed properly with the hardener. I would remove the soft filler then grind the area until you hit hard filler then refill the spot.

However... If the filler was poorly mixed you could have soft spots UNDER hard filler that could come back to haunt you later. If you think this could be the case you may want to consider removing all the filler and starting over.:(

Ta mate i might do that over about 1/2 of it its only the outsides that seem to be soft underneath and i can always test the stuff i think is hard by shoving something into it i spose (only means a touch up job).
