Here are a few pic's of the 36 Dodge pickup Ive been working on. I was told that it was purchased new by the owners father and used as a farm truck in an orange grove in south Fl. For the most part it was very solid and when we started working on it the odometer was only reading 280.7 miles.

Thanks guys,
It's an 05 GM color and since it's just a driver he's running a 302 SBF in it, instead of the Hemi like I suggested.

Sure looks good. Love to have it. Paint looks flawless. Was/is there any peel; did you buff?
Also, is that primer gray inside? If so, how come you didn't paint the inside first or at the same time? Send more pics then send me the truck. Henry

Yes Henry, I sanded and buffed everything and epoxied the inside of the cab too. I would have painted it, but its going to have a full interrior that's going to cover all of it and like I said, it's just a driver so I didnt really see the need.

Are those filters in the ceiling I see?? Looks like you have a nice clean place to work out of!

Yep, those are filters.
I have four of them with two large squirrel cage blowers feeding two filters each to make a smei-downdraft booth. It works really well, but since that's the only room I have to work in, it takes a while to get it cleaned up enough to be able to spray in it.

I'm doing my 48 the same as you are Jon. See no reason to ever finish coat any part that will be covered such as interior space.
Good primer and your set to go. I have to start taking pictures myself. I never have taken the time to do it but think I will on what I believe will be my last project. Mooch

Chris,
It's 2005 GM WA387E (PPG 5409) and I never got a chance to look at it out in the sun real well, but I didn't see much blue in it.
