Old primer, what next?

Got a car 7 years ago with all body work done and covered with primer. (Been stored inside) Now it's time to paint. How can I tell if it's epoxy or 2k or what. How do I proceed from here? I don't know the brand of primer. I understand some epoxies should be recoated with epoxy after a week.

If your unsure of the type, sand a small area. Epoxy will not sand that well. High build will sand with more dust than epoxy if you sand it dry.
