I'm at the final buffing stage now and there is some dried polish residue/splashes on the surface. What is a good way to remove this residue? Water works OK but I was wondering if there is a spray, like a spray detailer, that doesn't leave its own residue wax, glaze etc. Also, what are some methods that are typically used to do the final cleaning and detailing?

Once compound dries/hardens in hard to reach areas it can be a real bear to get off. Some guys recommend soaking it with vegetable oil, we usually clean as we go so that it doesn't dry where it's difficult to clean.
