I have a fender edge I just painted, approx 2" x 18"long and it is about 2 shades darker, is there any tricks to dull it with anything besides trying to find exact color of paint? thanks Dana

Depending on the type of paint you're using you may want to "blend" the color so that the transition from old to new paint is less noticeable. If the color is a metallic it can be dusted on to help lighten the color then cleared but, again, it should be thinned and blended into the surrounding color.

What do you mean by thinned Len?
And that transparent base costs +-R1700/L here, it's insane!!
