What is a good way to get rid of the sure finish that gets splashed around and hardens in areas like trim, mouldings, ect. It leaves white traces like when you don't get all the wax when you wax your car. I ran out of time on my car and now the stuff is pretty hard.

Almost any polish will leave a difficult residue if you allow it to dry on the surface. I recently allowed some Sure Finish to dry on textured plastic and used a scrub brush and Super Clean available from Wal Mart to get it off and it worked great. You may be able to use some other cleaner but be careful that it won't damage the surface.
