I've always wanted to paint a fade...let's say from dark green to very light green transition. Don't know how this is done
and when I google it, there just is not any definition for it. Any help please, I've wanted to paint one of these for a long time.

We've done a couple of fades with varying degrees of success. One thing we learned was to over-thin the color so that you can barely see it on the surface then apply it again and again until you get solid color at the end of your fade. The real trick comes when a vehicle that has a fade gets damaged and you try to match it. Also you need to spray from one end of the fade to the other so, if the car is going to have a fade on the side you need to spray from one end of the car to the other without stopping.... very tricky for a novice painter.

One question though for len, How do you thin bc/cc. I wouldn't know how to thin it since it is created with an activator. I use mostly chromabase + basemaker, so how would you do this?

You'll need to use a base coat color that doesn't take a hardener/activator, it should only take reducer. After you achieve the color you want the clear is applied normally.

Basemaker is not an activator. It's just a special reducer made by Dupont.
