I'm planning on prepping the rest of my panels and was wondering if it makes a difference if I wet or dry sand the existing finish? I'm going to be using 600 to scuff up the surface.

There are a couple of differences between wet and dry.

1. Dry creates dust, wet controls the dust.
2. Dry creates a finer scratch than wet using the same grit.
3. Dry paper loads up quickly while water removes the dust from the paper.
