I had some hail damage on my '05 Mercedes and the shop painted the entire hood. I had to introduce them to ceramic clear and PPG's ceramiclear, even though they are a PPG shop, but they did a good job. I picked up the car on May 27, so I think it was shot at least a day earlier. I'd like to get some protection on it before leaving for the beach at the end of July and also have a shorter (6 hour) trip planned in early July. The shop recommended 30 days, but I've read up to 90. When would you wax or seal?

Before the trip unless the tech sheet says different.

I did review theTech sheet and it doesn't have a recommended time to wax/seal that I can see.

I would go for it then before the trip.
