Anyone have a video of them (or someone else) shooting with a Devilbiss Plus gun? If so would you please post it. I love to see others shooting technique, and I can't find a video on youtube or anywhere else.

You really won't see anything on a video of spraying with a Plus gun that you would see with any other standard spray gun. The technique of using the guns is about the same. However the comparison of results can be different if you see the end result from different guns.

Len,
When you say standard gun are you saying "universal" or "conventional". Being that the plus is an RP I would think that shooting technique would be very similar to old school conventional guns, but I would think spraying style would be different than a hvlp gun like the GTI. I also like to watch peoples gun distance and spray speed as I would shoot with an LPH400-LV differently than I would with a Sata RP... does that make sense?

The Sata will be faster...from my studies the iwata will be the slowest...this (IWATA) is the only one in this thread i have not sprayed with.

HVLP guns are usually slower than conventional or compliant guns but watching someone spray with them will tell you very little of HOW to use the different guns because the paint products that are being sprayed also make a difference as does the nozzle size. It's best to focus your attention in the right places because once you can regulate your speed and distance based on what you see then you can quickly adjust to just about any spray gun.
