do i need to use white primer before white base coat

do i need to use a white primer before i spray a white base coat.
i have read that gray primer will bleed through
i will be using nason 2k paint

also i want to add a pearl can i mix pearl in with the paint or will i have to add it to a clear coat

I'm not familiar with Nason but if it covers decently and you have enough paint to apply two or three coats you probably don't need a white primer or sealer. If it covers poorly or you're short on paint then a white sub-straight will help.

i have 2 gallons i plan on about 4 coats then sand smooth then put two or three coats of a good clear coat with some pearl

do i need to use a flex agent with 2k urthane paint or would i be better to use bc/cc

You only need flex additive when you paint a flexible surface.

If you are spraying base coat color then the clear is usually applied withing the recoat window without sanding. You apply the color (two gallons sound like a lot more than necessary) allow it the dry/harden for an hour or so then apply your clear. No sanding between coats.

If you are spraying single stage paint and intend on clearing over it you can either apply the color then clear immediately or you can allow the color coat to harden, sand it with a fine grit paper like 1000 then apply your clear.

the reason i asked about the flex agent is cause the bumpers are plastic

i have read that you don't have to have a flex agent with bc/cc is this true or do i still need it

You should put flex additive in all of the "hardened" primer and/or paint the is applied over the plastic bumpers. In our shop we would prep everything then mask of the bumpers and paint the car then unmask the bumpers and mask off the car and paint the bumpers using flex additive in the clear. If the white AND the clear both take hardener then we would flex both coats.
