Spraying OMNI 2k surfacer with a 2.2 tip?

Is it much too large? It's larger than the recommended tip, but I bought one as I was going to spray poly, and now I'm not sure i want to go that route?

too big in my opinion. 1.6-1.8 for that primer for me. I bet some guys on here spray with a 2.0 though. Whatever works for you but doubt a 2.2 will work with you.
