I have a 70 TR6 that I had dipped striped and I need to spray the hood, trunk and doors. I am not going to get to them for a while and I don’t want them to rust on me. Yesterday I roughed them up with a red scotch bright pad and sprayed them in PPG DP50 epoxy primer. I know that the window for recoat without sanding the DP50 is 7 days. Sanding cured epoxy is a bear cat. So I was going to spray a high build primer on top of the DP and store the panels. Is this the best way to go or should I put something else over the epoxy primer instead of the High build primer? I want to be able to just block on the panels when I am read and them just keep going until I top coat down the road.
Thanks ahead for you help guys.

P.S. Len my Hobby Air arrived the other day and it works great. Thanks for providing such great products. I am ordering a DeVilbiss Plus spray gun next week and I am sure I will like it as much as I like my Hobby Air.:D
