something i can find locally would be nice, i have heard decent things about meguiars (or mothers i cant remember) #7 polish, scratch x, scratch doctor, i saw some 3m glaze for buffers (i cant recall the # but they had a hand applied one too). i know these arent super high quality like you guys are used to but its just to spruce up the stock paint for now. thanks
If you can feel the scratch with your finger nail there's a good chance that polishing isn't going to remove it. For swirls you can probably follow Robert's advice and get some wax, apply it with a soft sponge and remove it with a microfiber cloth. For mild scratches you can use a compound by hand, I like Sure Finish or Presta products.

I saw a demo of the Sure Finish at NACE and it really is a super polish.
