Which clearly is much better, and if we are going to have sub catagories, how about one for tools and equipment.
In the alternatives, perhaps ther could be a basicsor something where evrybody's favorite tools could be listed.
IR 321 half inch drive impact, and AirVantage should be at the top of the best of the best list.

The old Ingersoll Rand Model 231 was an excellent 1/2" impact but there are several much better impacts on the market now. The old IR-231 is rated at 450 ft. lbs. of torque which by todays standards are low compared to what else is available. I have had an Ingersoll Rand 2131 compsite body 1/2" impact that is rated at 600 ft. lbs. of torque and it has been an excellent air wrench which I personally would highly recommend for a wrench in that power class. IR now has the 2135TI (titanium) 1/2" impact which is rated at an amazing 1,000 ft. lbs. of torque. And it weighs less than 3 lbs (composite body and titanium hammer/anvil case). Chicago Pneumatic has newer 1/2" impact model that is called the "Turbo" that is rated at 800 ft. lbs.
The Dynabrad/Airvantage is an excellent finish sander that is still top of the line for a low profile lightweight finishing sander.
I'll add some catagories ASAP.
As for the impact wrenches I see that the IR 231 sells for about $110 but the IR 2130 (couldn't find the 2131) sells for about $179. (it should be better) and the IR 2135 sells for around $269 which is a good tool for the pro but probably a little overkill for the weekend tire changer. Although the 2135 comes as a nice kit, see pic below.
