Ok at this point I decided to use my gun as is instead of converting it to a plus. The loacl shops didn't have the parts in stock anyway and I was shooting that day, Well I never could quite nail the spray pattern down for a smooth flow. It was alway a touch grainy. That except for the clear.I got it decent. So I was wondering if anyone could give some good gun set up tips that have experince with this gun such as what pressure do you like,and what about fluid control. I keep mine at full for everything: sealer,base, and clear. Fan was about 2-3 turns in and I used a 1.4 tip. It seemed to me that I was always using to much paint.That's really my big issue. All of this was with PPG paint(DPLF for sealer,DBC for base,nnd 2042 clear). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
